
Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Dawson at Ingleside farm about
1910. He was a farmer and also involved in several
Trappe businesses including Dawson, Bowdle &
Stevens circa 1879 [a crock from their store is
pictured on p. 1] and Simpson and Dawson in the
1890s. She was Willie Anna Nichols and the daughter
of a Methodist minister who lived at Compton for a
time.
