The Pilgrim Holiness Church (now "Emmanuel Wesleyan Chapel") was built in 1946, replacing the original structure, which was heavily damaged by fire in 1945. Parts of the original structure that survived the fire were incorporated into this new brick-faced building. In 1956 a Sunday School annex, composed of six classrooms, would be added. circa 1946
