A jar of Better Shave marketed by Morris' Products, Trappe, Md. Probably 1930s or '40s, this dates from the days when men would dip a shaving brush into a soap like this and then lather up their face before shaving with a straight razor. Better Shave was likely manufactured somewhere else and a local distributor would buy up a supply and then put on their own labels.
