Detail from "War Department Corps of Engineers U.S. Army; Trappe Quadrangle 7 1/2 Minutes Series 1943". This is one of the first maps to show the Trappe by-pass built in 1940 which paralleled Rt. 565 Old Trappe Rd. from Trappe up to Peachblossom Creek. It then rejoined Old Trappe Rd. up to Washington St. Easton.
